I highly recommend going to a different pet store as I bought a guppy fish that died before I even got to let it out of the bag, maybe 20 minutes after purchase. I didn’t get a receipt because the cashiers machine was slow, I typed in my number to see if I had an account and when I didn’t she never asked if I wanted to create an account which I would have said yes too. I went back the next day with the bag that the fish came in that had a clear 7 digit code for the fish and a petco label on it, I also had a depot card transaction saying I spent $21 at the portage petco, and the dead fish. They refused to give me a replacement or refund because I didn’t have proof of purchase. As someone who works in retail I would say that is clearly a proof of purchase. I'm torn on how many stars to actually give as I LOVE Stacy, the groomer. She's always amazing with both of my dogs! However, today, there was a new groomer who made my dog yelp a few times during his nail trim. I was watching through the window. My dog was not moving around or anything. The groomer looked over her shoulder and when she realized I was watching, she kept saying "I didn't hurt you, you're lying"...... She had every excuse in the book and I'm not happy!

I had a great experience. I was new to fish and Gavin took the time to help me and explain everything I needed to know to keep fish healthy. Best experience I've had yet with a pet store. Jess was very helpful as well. Very informative about tank hygiene for fish and how to take care of them. Ive had a excellent experience with this store

I just spent over $350 to have my three poodles groomed I was robbed The did the crappies job on my two black poodles cutting the crown and ears so short that my dogs look stupid and look at the picture where the cut the top of my little girl so short because they did not want to work on getting the mat out that she had there no just shaved it off. Both of them had nice fluffy crowns now they look like their heads are to big for their body. They are so lucky that my daughter picked them up because I would not have paid for this crap. Tried to donate 1 nerite snail and some aquatic plants and was told that they couldn't be dropped off because of a lack of a quarantine tank...for 1 SNAIL AND SOME PLANTS?!?! Absolutely ridiculous!!! Who is quarantining a snail and plants that are obviously clean and healthy?? ....welp compared to their live fish section... I'd say my donations are better off somewhere else anyhow
