I had a great experience with the excellent staff at PetCo Pearl City! Danny helped me with my parrot adoption and was so attentive. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great insights into bird care. He was friendly and never pressured me into a sale, even after three visits. A special shout-out to Danny for his professionalism and help!

I really like how the staff was excellent and how they were so useful. While picking up my mobile order. An elderly was going to help me but then I asked for a younger person to help me out to carry my items. There’s a person who was able to assist me. They’re so helpful, nice, friendly and lastly very respectful. I came back inside the store to purchased more items. The associate who helps me checked out. She was extremely outstanding, her speed of service 10/10. The store was cleaned and neatly. Very presentable.

staff is so helpful. I needed to find the birthday cake for my baby's birthday on Saturday. She walked me to the isle and pointed out the product I was looking for. the cashier was sweet to ask whose birthday it was.

My visit to Petco today was extremely disappointing. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. The staff lacked basic communication skills and showed little to no courtesy or willingness to help. I felt ignored, spoken to dismissively, and left without clear answers to simple questions. A retail environment—especially one centered around pets—should be welcoming and helpful, but this location was the complete opposite. I don’t expect special treatment, just basic respect and professionalism, and unfortunately that standard was not met at all. This experience has made me seriously reconsider returning to this store in the future.
