Very nice young lady answered my questions about Congo Tetras. Fish department seems well taken care of. Update, I bought seven congo tetras and a molly. I bought a petco bucket, sponge filter, air pump, heater and a small bottle of API Aqua Essential water conditioner and with the help of the same young lady, I managed to get my fish home alive and well. They supply reptile needs, unlike petsmart. I have 2 cats and a snake, so petco is a one stop shop. The staff are friendly/helpful/knowledgeable. I go often, and when I'm there the animals they have available all look healthy and well socialized. Even the birds- I've also had birds over the years, and once you understand their behaviors, you also learn to tell when they're genuinely cared for versus just feeding, watering and cleaning. The reptile terrariums all show thought and care for enrichment and making them comfortable. The arachnids have smaller appropriate terrarium hides with a feeling of safety for them in mind. I would love to see this business thrive, because I prefer to buy from a company that genuinely cares about animals. I didn't get that feeling from petsmart at all from

Took in our puppy, we knew our puppy was a bit matted on her ears. our puppy is such a sweet playful girl, once we arrived to the grooming department out pup hid from her (should of been out first red flag). the lady who took care of our puppies appointment knew we wanted a teddy bear look on her face, and a trim all through out her body once we picked up our dog up our dog was shaved barely any fur on her. We won’t be coming back to petco for any grooming services ever.

Started A “Positive Dog Training” course at Petco with Pearl my small breed dog. Autumn (dog trainer) is lovely, clear in direction and patient with all owners and dogs. It’s been a very educational for everyone. I am enjoying it so much.

We take our dog to get groomed at Petco. Katie does a great job. She remembers our dog and takes great care of him. We are willing to drive further as long as Katie is grooming him.
