I usually wouldn’t even post a review of somewhere I had a bad experience at I just wouldn’t go back but this place is awful I’d give it zero stars if I could, staff are nice enough if you can find anyone who’s working. I went in with my daughter to buy some new fish for her tank and while we waited in the fish section picking out the fish she wanted the place was a ghost town, eventually I see the first employee or so I thought she was an employee doing something with a tank and I ask her if she can get the fish for us and she said that she can’t but she’ll go get someone who can, twenty minutes goes by and still nobody so we walk up front to the cashier and she has to call somebody to come help us. Also wanted to get a few freshwater shrimp for the tank but there were none alive it was a

The staff always greet us when we enter the store. We usually visit on weekdays when the traffic is light. The shelves are kept clean although I noticed that there was a good amount of empty space. The aquarium stock seems well maintained with a good selection. All of the animals seem to be in clean and spacious confines. We especially enjoy socializing with the kittens. Visiting with them always prompts me to buy a new treat for my own cats. The cashiers are friendly and engaging.

Nice store buts difficult finding help especially with crickets. I returned home and in my bag of crickets it is filled with a giant pile of poop and dead crickets. I will never return to that store or any Petco ever again!

This is one of the best Pet co/ pet store locations in the area. The quality of the fish in the aquarium room and the displays very impressive from the turtle tank, fresh water tanks and salt water! Shelves are always organized and stocked and wonderful costumers service. Thank you everyone for building a great shopping experience. Bravo!

Di (spelling?) at Mattydale Petco was excellent! My 8 week old long haired tiger kitten I found had fleas and she gave specific instruction on how to remedy the issue. She helped me find the correct products to buy, and what steps to do everything in. She was thorough, patient and SUPER helpful!
