I came in to purchase a fish tank and supplies along with a few fish. I kindly approached the blue haired lady working the fish part of the store and asked if I could get some help getting fish. I told her I’d like some platty and she told me to wait so she can use AI to look up and see if they will be okay in a 20 gallon tank. She finds on Google AI that the fish I chose can’t fit in the 20 gallon tank I’ve bought and can’t get me the fish due to “petco policy”. I’ve had plenty of fish live very long in a 20 gallon tank. I guess the new petco policy is using AI to tell customers what fish they can buy or not. She tells me to keep looking for a few minutes and come back when I’ve picked out what I want and tells ME to search what fish will fit in a 20 gallon tank. She walks off to the fron

First experience coming into your store. I was looking for a probiotic for my cat. The young lady did a quick look in a cabinet and did not seem interest in helping me. I worked in retail for 14 years and if I had an employee with this type of demeanor, I would pulled them aside and worked with them to understand the reason we are here is to assist the customers. Let me know you may not have exactly what I am looking for, however let me ask someone else or lets look up what the reviews are on what we carry. I was disgusted and left. What do you think the likelihood of me returning?

I bought one of the Fido pet ID tags. There was a nice selection in different price ranges. The machine was fairly easy to use and offered lots of options for font style. The only problem I had was when I got the tag home the packaging was tough to open until I realized I just had to slide the paper out which released the tag. Otherwise I had tried to pry it with heavy duty scissors on the plastic so just be aware.

Extremely disappointing to see the deteriorating conditions and standards at this location. It used to be among the BEST places with the old manager. This seems to be the norm for this particular district and group of stores. As a shareholder, it’s concerning to me that stores are allowed to look and run this way. The company should be ashamed.

My dog has not been getting bathed for the past few times I’ve been coming here. Over $60 down the drain. She’s only been getting haircuts and I can tell by her fur. She still had scabs hanging on her fur from her surgery and her tail still looked the exact same and dingy
