Petco

I recently visited to Petco at La Cañada location on Foothill Blvd right next to Trader Joe’s. So awesome; very convenient; the lady who is a cashier was so friendly. I like her a lot. So many reptiles such as water turtles geckos lizard & snakes. fishes at the aquarium section, parrots, birds & definitely guinea pigs & chinchillas. (I didn’t see this time. Probably sold out.) Super loud & busier than I expected. Cats & dog food supplies bedding and much more. Perfect for customers ordering pet supplies & food online pick up at the store. Curbside of course. Petco is the most interesting pet store I’ve experienced.

I love Petco as a place that has high quality products and extremely nice, dedicated, and professional employees. During my last purchase at Petco in La Canada, I was approached by a very nice female employee that asked if she could help me find what I was looking for. I noticed she had close to 7 items in her hand that she was trying to place on various shelves; later I noticed she was limping on a bad leg, and she was also going back and forth to the cashier's area trying to help customers with their purchases. What she was doing was far beyond dedication, decency, and call of duty. I congratulate her for being an exemplary employee, and congratulate Petco for nurturing employees like her. I am extremely grateful for all that she did for me. Thank you.

I seem to always have to wait for someone to come to the checkout, but prices are very good, and what I want is usually in stock.

Bought a $200 turtle starter kit, filter was DOA. Thought I’d have to dismantle my turtle’s new mansion, but David at the La Cañada Petco swapped just the filter—no drama, no turtle eviction. Customer service isn’t dead, it just moved to La Cañada. 🐢👏

I have been going to the La Cañada Petco for the last couple years more recently and they have been extremely helpful. Their vital care plan provides unlimited teeth cleaning and nail trims plus gives you reward money to use. Their grooming service is excellent and it truly does make me feel like I am taking the best care of my dog. My kids hug our dog and say he’s soft as a bunny. It is worth every penny.
