Petco

I want to shout out Becca for her role as “zookeeper” today to my three spectrum kids. She went above and beyond to involve my Christmas-break-bored-gremlins in her fish feeding, turtle snacks, and going through the reptiles. I’m so grateful!

First visit to petco. Staff was nice and friendly. Plan on stopping in again eventually. Nice price on live aquarium plants.

My friend and I were shopping here for our dogs. I needed some gravy to put on my picky dogs food so she will eat it and wanted some toys, and my friend needed dog food for her pup. We had a bag of food and some gravy packs in the cart, and we were looking at some dental treats. An associate came up to my friend and looked at what was in the cart and told us "there is very little nutrients in either one of those items, you should read the ingredients." Then just walked away. While we did not ask for her opinion, she also did not offer to give us a healthier alternative in our price range. I feel that if you are going to walk up to someone and say that without them asking, then you should atleast educate or give other options, not just walk away. I went in to Petco twice and both times I was checked out by Paige who apparently doesn't know how to greet the customers. The first visit, I said "hello" amd she started ringkng my items up without a word. So I asked her if they had done away with saying "hello" to guests. She said no, but she was just "being quiet." I thought pethaps she was having a bad day so i gave her the benefit of the doubt. The second visit i went with my husband, and coincidentally Paige was at the register again. I greeted her warmly and again she ignored my greeting and proceeded to ring out my items without a word. Just like she was unfazed and ignored me when I thanked her for handing me the receipt and my purchases. In my opinion, if you aren't personable then you shouldn't be a cashier. Once, I can give h

I stopped at this location today for a few items, dog food/treats etc. As I was reaching to put the dog food into the trunk I noticed some cobwebs on the top of the bag, a closer look revealed a combination of dead and live larvae coming from the bag. I took it back inside and showed the employee, they told me to go get another one from the shelf so they could exchange it, (poor customer service, why should I go out of my way to correct a problem that is the stores responsibility?) I walked back to the shelf and the one other bag was CRAWLING with larvae! I told the cashier about it and said I’d just like a refund.
