Petco Grooming

Do not take your pets here!!!! As a someone who has worked in customer service for more than a decade now this is some of the worst I have ever experienced. The lady at the front desk was rude unprofessional. She did not care or even acknowledged my concerns. Her facial expressions and tone voice made us feel unwelcome. She didn’t try to comfort or acknowledge my pet, all she did was drag him to the back. I reeved a call a few hours later saying it may take longer then expected so he would be done at 2 when I had dropped him off at 10:30 and was originally told by 1pm. That was fine I understand they need more time. I went in at 2pm like I was told for them to not be done. A week ago, I took my puppy to PETCO for the first time. The girl who helped me at the reception desk was very rude. She shouldn't be in a customer service position with that perpetually angry look on her face. I don't know if she was the one who groomed my puppy, but I paid for the full service, and they called me to say they couldn't finish because the dog tried to bite her. He doesn't bite and has never bitten anyone before, not even at the previous groomer. I can only imagine how she treats the dogs if she treats customers so poorly. They also didn't cut or file his nails, which was included in the service I paid for. I regret not getting her name.

Dani is amazing! She has been exceptional with my puppy. She is informative and patient, with a friendly demeanor.

It did not go well from the start. When we dropped off our dog (a pug), they had us take off his harness and put on a choker leash. They should’ve put it around his body but instead they put it around his neck. They told us to leave and they’d call us when he’s ready. As we were leaving, they tried pulling him in, which was choking him, instead of just picking him up. They were pulling him so hard it was literally choking him to the point his eyes were turning red. This is not good. Especially for a pug. It’s well known that you should never use a collar/leash on a pug as it can collapse their trachea. You should only ever use a harness. Every time I’ve taken him in elsewhere, they’d wrap it around his body and one leg as a type of harness. So it did not go well. Then when it was

I was not too happy with the 2 stylists that worked on our 2 dogs. Our dogs were shaved almost down to their skin. I heard great things about Jennifer though and I scheduled Bonbon with her next month. I wish she had availability this month.
