Petco Grooming

Not very impressed with their service or customer service. We’ve been a few times. The first visit was fine. After the second visit, I spent about an hour at home trimming and fixing areas that weren’t blended at all on a teddy bear cut. On the third visit, we came in for a schnauzer cut but they told us our Goldendoodle would have to be shaved down to the skin due to “severe” matting. Admittedly, she had a handful of mats, but most were soft and workable since we comb her every single day. It felt like the groomer simply didn’t want to take the time to work through them. The tone of the conversation was also disappointing. She kept apologizing to my dog as if she had the worst owners in the world, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I was very impressed by PETCO grooming. We just adopted our first puppy and they made it all seem easy for us rookies. The greeting and intake was friendly and made me feel like our dog would be safe and well-taken care of. He smelled fresh and they did an excellent job with the haircut as well. I'd highly recommend them for pet grooming, hair cuts, and a great customer experience. I forgot the persons name who helped me but she had an awesome British accent and she was superb at her profession.

I was recommended to another groomer and was very unhappy with the outcome. I brought him into Petco # two days later and they completely fixed my pups haircut. I was pleasantly surprised that they did not charge me much at all. I will definitely be returning. And I will definitely be requesting Kathleen. She was very pleasant, very professional and a wonderful job with my pup!

We have been going to this location since both of our dogs were puppies and they’ve always done an amazing job! Unfortunately had to put our younger dog down the previous week and the entire grooming staff was so amazing when I brought our other dog for his grooming appointment that they gave us a card, expressing their feelings of our loss. It was very touching for my wife and I and we will continue to use the Midvale Petco for all of our grooming needs.

The groomers work as a team to get you checked in and out quickly and efficiently. Mo is absolutely amazing! She is knowledgeable, professional, can calm our little dog down and even made friends with him. If is just bath and blow out, or the full treatment with a hair cut, Mo does a fantastic job each and every time.
