Petco Grooming

I would put 0 review but I can’t I bring my dog is a small breed (bichon frise). I make the appointment for a full service when I pick her up they don’t finish the job and they told me that was because my dog was nervous . I brought my dog to several grooming services before and they NEVER told me that my dog was nervous or with anxiety. I expect a very good service due to the prices but it is the worse haircut I never seen and unfinished. They told me to bring her back on a week to finish the job now that I read other reviews about how that treat the dogs I’m afraid to take her back I can’t believe how expensive and unprofessional this place is.

Made an appointment for a full service groom for my mini pincher I picked her up after almost 2 hours they told me they couldn’t do her nails they said they did 2 of them and she was fidgeting and they didn’t want to try to finish due to it being their first time with our dog. Our dog shows no signs of anxiety or aggression with anyone, they also stated they gave us 20% off and they did not. We payed full price for a service that wasn’t complete.

Always takes great care of my very skittish little girl, Coco. She's a sweetie but definitely a wild thing sometimes!

This time I couldn't tell by the look at him an definitely not by the smell of him if he ever even gotten a bath this time

Updated* tldr; staff turned me away from a grooming appointment, choked my dog thinking it proved a point, and sent me to the vet, whom agreed, it's a good thing we didn't leave them there, imo, stay away from the current Petco grooming staff I went today on April 30th for my grooming appointment. And I can say this much... They used to be decent, now pet owners beware, it might be a risk to your dogs health. Megan or maybe her name was Skye, I don't exactly recall, who used to work there though they were amazing. It's been about a year since I last had used their grooming but I had a bit of extra money so I figured it would be a nice treat for the pups. My old groomer apparently is no longer working there but I assumed that was the standard of care you'd get here. Wow was I wrong. Carli
