Petco

I drive out of my way to go this specific location. All because of Abby. She is THE best groomer for my Pug Cinnabon. I go to her monthly for the past year I haven’t looked back. She’s personable and is so accommodating. Don’t get me wrong the staff here is also a night and day difference from other locations never had a single issue here.

I recently went to Petco to update my cat's litter box and pick up supplies. I was able to get everything I needed and save on cat food. Great customer service, ready to answer questions or help. Love the Parakeets fish area.

I don’t know why this store has so many negative reviews. I come here all the time. I even brought my dog to the vetco clinic and they were great with her. But what inspired me to write this review was my interaction this morning. I was having the worst morning. Just one of those, if it could go wrong it will. And the cashier checking me out must’ve picked up on it and started asking me how I was and making small talk. But she did it in the best way, she was SO polite and SO uplifting. I actually left the store in a better mood than when I came in. She had a black lip ring a medium brown hair, I believe. Deserves a raise! Haha

I would give this Petco zero stars if possible. We had a nail clip appointment for 2 dogs. I was running behind so I called and told them I’d be a few minutes late. They said that’s fine. I checked in 3 minutes after my appointment start time. I waited for a bit since they had other customers. Another employee came out and said they had a VIP customer come in so they were canceling my appointment since is was late. I let her know that I was told my appointment was fine and it was only 3 minutes past my check in time. She said that didn’t matter they were taking their VIP instead. I won’t return to this Petco or any other for grooming or shopping. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve patiently waited while they were running late. Came here to buy my kids each a hamster today. Terrible experience with a staff member who told us her name was Judy, which ended with us shipping elsewhere. Initially we planned to buy two hamsters, and use one cage. We asked if this was alright, and the staff member told us no they need their own cages. We chatted for a moment and decided that was fine, we'd buy two and we'd buy two separate cages- however we didn't plan to buy them both from Petco (I already had plans to purchase a whole setup on OfferUp after our store visit). Apparently Judy didn't like this for some reason...she said she would not sell us both hamsters unless we were buying two cages right then. I asked her if this was store policy, and she said it was.
