Great place where we had opportunity to get our forever pet - bird sun conure Bandit. He is a happy baby with lots of spirit and strongest heart ever ! This bird is someone who adds spice to my being on daily basis. It’s fun place to spend the whole day watching different small animals Staff were very caring people around. Thanks so much for letting us have a Bandit who is very happy birdie now. He is free - spirit.

Go to aquarium section and look for Amanda . She provided so much knowledge for me and my beta fish . She took about ten times explaining management for my tank and was extremely patient . It was my first time here and I was very please with the customer service . I bought a snail and a live plant.

this is what I walk out with because the young lady in the fish department today decided she was going to project her negative energy on me. I asked her if she was working the fish and she rudely says yes and then looks away and I ask if she can grab some fish for me and she gives me an atitude as she asks me what size my tank is. I’ve been coming to this petco since I’ve moved to New York 3 years ago and have never had an issue. I know the big name pet stores ask you what size your tank is and etc, that’s not my issue. The manager here is extremely nice, and I also had a great experience with another young lady that works at this location but I barely see her at the fish department anymore. I got 5 different fish tanks I’m pretty knowledgeable on keeping fish, most likely more than the yo

The young man working at the check out was so helpful in showing me the products for my dog’s ear problem. I don’t know his name but I was there Friday morning 10/10. A great employee!

I went in to buy a 5 gallon betta tank and supplies for a betta that needed a larger tank and a .49 cent feeder goldfish for a garter snake. The very rude chick flatly refused to sell me the goldfish because "I required a 20 gallon that had been set up for at least 24 hours". Um, no. Its a FEEDER goldfish. For a SNAKE. I left over 100 dollars worth of products in the store because they wouldn't sell a feeder goldfish to be feed to a snake. I've spent thousands at Petco. They won't get another penny from me, both because of their extremely unprofessional help and her anti-snake policies.
