I frequent this PetCo, and I'm not sure I will be for much longer. Each time I shop here I'm sure to have a disappointing experience with a specific employee, "Kami". Any time I attempt to inquire about any product, I'm treated as a second thought and brushed off as if my inquiry is far less important than the employee's conversation with her clique behind the counter or her cellular device. I've had enough of this unprofessional treatment by this employee, and as a cherry on top, her dismissive attitude as if I'm making her life significantly harder than it needs to be for asking about cat food and toys. When you order something online, the automated system tells you it must be picked up within 3 days. I called the store and talked with Hazel and told her it would be 3, possibly 4 days. She didn’t think that would be a problem, and even put a note on my order stating when I would be in. I had paid online for 2 large dog beds, but when they say 3 days, they mean to the hour! About 20 mins before I got to the store, I received an automated message saying the beds had been put back in inventory, and I would get a refund. When I got to the store in Covington, the cashier told me he was unable to resell them to me at the online sales price and that I would need to reorder them online. I came into Petco intending to buy fish food and purchase about 50 fish for my new tank. When I arrived, one associate was helping another customer, so I patiently waited my turn by the fish department. After finishing with that customer, the associate began chatting with another group across the area instead of helping me. I stood there waiting for roughly 15 minutes while he continued having personal conversations about his honeymoon in Hawaii, his own fish, and unrelated stories. During this time, he repeatedly looked at me but never acknowledged or assisted me. Another employee walked by, so I asked if they could help catch fish. This is my go to for all my pets needs.. everytime I walk in i get greeted. The employees are always helpful. I've never have had a bad experience there. The manager is knowledgeable and knows the product that they carry.. this is the best store to shop for your pets..thank you for always being so helpful

Great store with lots of selection. Very clean and welcoming. Team members are knowledgeable and friendly without being overly salesy. I found everything I needed for a newly adopted dog - I brought his new bed home and he immediately collapsed into it! I also appreciate that this location is super close to my house for added convenience :)
