Petco

This was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had with a grooming service. To be clear, my family and I have used Petco grooming hundreds of times with very few issues. However, on this occasion, our specific requests were ignored, the grooming outcome was unacceptable, and the way the situation was handled afterwards was both unprofessional and deeply offensive. When we dropped our dog off, I was very clear in my request for a teddy bear cut and I was specifically told “I will try my best”. I even provided pictures to avoid any misunderstanding. Despite this, upon pick up, our dog was COMPLETELY shaved down (see attached pictures to this review), the exact opposite of what was asked for and there was no indication that they had even “tried”. This location is not good. The associates aren't very nice & kept glaring at me while I was looking at the animals like I was up to something. I then proceeded to the register because I was finished, and I had a coupon book for my new adopted pet. I wanted to buy some bowls and had a coupon for 20% (made sure I had the right brand.) The coupon wouldn't scan and the lady tried to tell me that it doesnt apply because its a dinner set and I said thats weird because the picture on the coupon is literally a diner set lmao. Both the manager and the associate told me this and said theres nothing they could do wouldn't let me save my whole $4. To top it all off I told the manager to take off the bowls since the coupon wouldnt work, I paid walked out to my car and THE BOWLS WERE STILL ON THE RECEIP

I will never take my pets to Petco again or even shop there. I had an appointment that was cancelled but not by me. It was holiday time so I asked to reschedule immediately and was told there were no appointments, I went to the car and was able to schedule an appointment (go figure). I brought my dog back and one not only was the groomer outside smoking a cigarette, she did a horrible cut, my 2 yr old granddaughter could have done a better job. She kept telling me she was off at 3:00 when she checked him in. My husband picked up my dog and I took him back up there and got a refund for making my Doodle look crazy. Today, I tried to schedule a bath (a month later) asking that the previous person not work on him and was told that because I was not satisfied that previous time, they no

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was needing a probiotic for my kitten and couldn’t find. A young lady was fantastic looking in several places to find what I needed. Check out was a breeze. The store is well stocked with pet items.

Today we experienced a bad day again at the Mall of Georgia Petco. I spoke with the young lady named McKenzie, who was filling in for our regular groomer Marissa. Unfortunately when my daughter went in to get Hershey, she saw McKenzie hitting my dog and aggressively pulling his front leg behind him. That’s a no no! She have popped his leg out of place and he was snatching back from her so I know it was hurting him!! This was the second incident from when Marrisa made him bleed and didn’t tell me anything about it. I let that one go and just cleaned it up and put corn starch on it. So now here we are again, and McKenzie is hitting him to let her do his trimming on paws. They didn’t see my daughter watching them and she hit the window to tell her to stop and let him out of there! She did not
