Had the best experience at this location today. Fish staff was extremely helpful and friendly!!! My betta fish is beautiful and healthy. I will definitely be back.

I’ve been to this store a few time to buy things for my pets. Almost every time I have been I have come across sales employees who are not the most respectful. I get it—you’re on your feet all day dealing with people and their animals, etc. I have had cashiers role their eyes at me when I change my mind about an item or stare at me and give me one word sentences during checking out. It is sort of ridiculous. I say give your money to a mom and pop store before coming here.

I visited the Petco Brighton store and was extremely disappointed by the service. The staff member we interacted with was unprofessional and condescending, making us feel extremely unwelcome. Their attitude suggested assumptions about our ability to afford pets, which was both rude and inappropriate. I hope Petco addresses this issue to ensure all customers are treated with respect and professionalism.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Petco location. I came in with my family to browse and purchase items, and the moment we walked in, an employee named Eric rudely asked whether we were just there to wait for the restaurant next door or if we were actually going to buy something. The assumption alone was disrespectful, but the tone made it worse — it came across as dismissive and unwelcoming. No customer should be treated that way simply for entering a store. We were made to feel uncomfortable before even having a chance to shop. Customer service like this reflects poorly on the store, and it’s not an experience that makes me want to return. I hope management addresses how customers are greeted and spoken to in the future. I will not be returning to this location.

Went there to save a budgie from the clutches of the imperial bird machine , and they told me no one was available to sell me a bird. I had to leave without one and I was so sad 😢😭 the next day I called the manager and she told me there were always people there who can sell birds and she didn't know what I was talking about. I did eventually rescue a bird but they were lame. The worst part was it was my birthday and we drove an hour and a half just to get me a bird and it completely ruined my birthday as that was to be my emotional support Birdy birthday present to help me battle cancer. 🎊🎈🎂.
