This was by far the worst grooming experience our family has ever had, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this location for pet grooming services. My daughter took our nearly one-year-old Golden doodle to the Beachwood Petco for a grooming appointment. She returned two hours later to find our dog extremely anxious and visibly distressed. She did not have much hair for there to be bald spots anywhere. If she wasn’t skilled to groom she should have not attempted to groom our dog. The groomer, Ashley, was still working on another dog when my daughter arrived, but she could already hear our dog barking from the back. Despite being dropped off at 1:30 PM, our dog wasn’t ready until 4:30 PM—and even then, the grooming was subpar. There were uneven patches throughout her coat and noticeab

What a great place to shop. I pass a few different pet stores on my way to this one. The employees are great to talk to you, they are down to earth, they don’t talk to you like they are reading off a script, they are always joyful and happy. I’ve walked into this pet store and I’ve seen the employees dancing and singing with customers and others rolling around on the ground with a dog. JD and Dani are great with my annoying questions, the cute bubbly brunette actually caught that I was having a bad day and went out of her way to ask me why I was having a bad day, after her and I chatted for a few and I left, I actually felt a sense of relief from the day I was having. This is not typical customer service you will see at other corporate establishments and it’s a breath of fresh air to walk

I came into the store looking for an item for my daughters tarantula, and I came across the kindest, sales person ( JD ) he was holding a small bearded dragon, which prompted me to ask many questions regarding bearded dragon (Possum ) was his recent name given by the associate. JD answered all of my many questions about bearded dragons, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I was so impressed by JD and Possum that even though I live in Lakewood, OH and there are closer locations to me, We came back to Beachwood to take home Possum and we are very pleased. Thank you JD!

The people were nice and helpful when it came to helping me find what I needed and they said after I called that I can come back and get a replacement but it’s still an upsetting situation. I went to get flea stuff for my cat didn’t think to check the box to make sure the flea drops were actually in there because…why wouldn’t they be after a worker handed me the box? Had everything set up at home the next day to do the drops opened the box to find no flea drop tubes in sight…just kind of wild to buy something from the pet store come home and the box is empty

The people who work there are very friendly and always helpful. I have never met anyone with a bad attitude or who did not ask me if I needed help. Great team of people.
