Petco

The Annapolis Petco may be small, but the employees that work there really about the customers both human and fur babies. I recently bought dog treats from her and a week later they were infested with bugs and maggots. When i called and explained the situation, Peyton was so very kind and stated i come to the store and they would refund me and make sure I get new treats that she would personal check herself. After speaking with her for a while at the store i could really tell she loved doing what she does and was very knowledgable when explaining things to me. The manager whose name i believe is Dan is also very kind, he is usually at the registers when i come and is always welcoming and loves to spoil the pups that come in. I will definitely return to this store always.

I've gotten my shepherd mix groomed as a few places locally, for a shampoo, nails, teeth, ears, etc. They are very nice, committed to telling you if they can't do something (ie. mine can't have a cut do to their coat and were firm on that). I recently switched to going to the Severna Park location due to convenience and forming a better relationship with their Team. However when needed I will gladly take my pup back to this location for grooming, Petco has better standards then PetSmart from my interactions.

DO NOT purchase dog food from this store. Unopened sealed dogfood bag filled with flies and maggots. Do you want your dogs eating this???

Peyton is the absolute sweetest person ever! I got so many things that she had to manually put the discount on and did not make me feel bad at all, she was so polite and happy to help me out and had a great countenance. Give that girl a raise!!!!

A typical Petco, but there is a cat adoption room in the back. It’s partnered with a local cat rescue. The store itself is somewhat small. However, it’s always well stocked and the staff is very friendly. Always willing to help find something or answer questions. They carry a great selection of specialty and high end dog foods—we had to switch our dog to a grain free, poultry free diet. It’s one of the very few stores where we can regularly find Merrick items in store rather than having to order online. It’s located in a strip mall area with lots of great stores and restaurants. That’s good for other shopping, but bad as far as being busy. The parking lot is an absolute madhouse.
