Changing long term veterinary is difficult until you align when services declined to the date they were puchased. Bay Ridge is the last Annapolis vet practice which services are NOT directly tied to a paycheck, bonus incentives, and employee retention. Vet practices have been gobbled up by hedge funds which has evolved pet rescue into being rebranded as owning a luxury item. After encountering poor service for my boy Hammer, I did a deep dive into vet ownership to find the root of the problem. My heart sank from what I learned. I was prepared that my two dogs were going to be my last rescues. Then I remembered Dr Rudd from decades ago that left Annapolis. So glad I found a local, permanent and reliable vet for my new dog. Everyone (from the front desk, to the vet tech and the veterinarian) was awesome. They knew what they were doing and did it well. Even my puppy enjoyed himself😁 Thank you!

Justin was great. He was able to check Emma is and arrange and complete her appointment. Angel, the technician was very good in checking Emma. Dr. Rudds was able to diagnose the problem and give me very understandable information. I highly recommend Dr. Rudds for all of my dog's medical needs, and; the Bay Ridge Animal Hospital to everyone. They are very friendly, helpful and professional. Great place for my dog.

Brought our Scottie in for a same-day appt: quick blood draw and update on flu shot. Everyone we encountered was wonderful— very friendly, shared some good laughs, and the dog even took the treat (big deal for a Scottish terrier). Shout out to Jason and Adam!

We have been with this practice for over 30 years, first with our cat and now with our dog. We have found every vet, tech, and other office staff member to be friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They've been through everything with us and our pets.
