Petco

I’ve been coming to this petco as a regular for 9 years and have never had an issue with staff until today. I was there at about 11-11:15am on 2/27/26. I was waiting in line to pay for my dog’s food. There were two people behind the counter so I was waiting for one of them to let me know they’re ready to ring me up. I was waiting for quite a few minutes so I checked the time on my phone just to keep busy while waiting. I looked up a couple times and the guy behind the register was just standing there and so I nicely said “do I need to go to another register?” And with the snarkiest tone he says “no, I’m just waiting for you to get off your phone.” ??? I had my stuff set on the counter ready to check out and he wasn’t scanning it so I don’t know what he wanted me to do? I didn’t want to be

A complete pet store with all you need at great prices. They have some pets that you will rarely see at any other pet store. I like the staff that give you enough space to think on your own but are willing to help out if you need it. Good offers keep coming on regular stuffs every now and then. They provide pet grooming as well. Overall very good place for you to get your next pet.

I needed some things for a new dog I just adopted. Petco had a good selection in everything I needed, and helpful, knowledgeable staff were available to assist me with recommendations and locating things, including puzzle games and tiny treats to put in them. The new dog is a more mild chewer than my last dog, and he really likes the durable stuffies I got him.

I came from out of town, where it's really hard to find any aquarium supplies, and was appalled by the state of the aquariums in the store. Dirty tanks with neglected fish, some of which had killed each other - presumably because they were species that shouldn't be housed together. The bettas were absolutely tragic. If the store selling these creatures can't even keep them in semi-humane conditions, how are they showing new owners how to take care of them on even a basic level? How do they sleep at night? The kitties seem to be well taken care of, I guess, but I wouldn't trust these people with living animals. I swear, as someone who grew up in the area: Ann Arbor considers itself to be this hole of human empathy, but this Petco is like a living symbol for what it actually felt like to liv

The story is nice and clean it has a grooming area to get your dog's hair done however the prices are on the very high side for most things though the fish are a decent price
