I suspected that my kitty had an urinary infection. It was a Saturday and I frantically searched for a vet that was open on the weekend. Petcare was able to schedule me in within a couple of hours from when I called. All of the staff were incredibly kind from start to finish. Doctor Matheson was very compassionate and thorough. He explained all the possibilities and tests before we proceeded. I did have to leave my kitty at the clinic for the afternoon because they couldn't get a good urine sample at the time. Nurse Jen was wonderful as well. She called me to keep me updated and asked permission to take an x-ray because they suspected possible bladder stones. She explained in detail why they felt this was necessary in a way that I felt comfortable and well informed with agreeing to proceed

Took my kitty for an extraction and was told they wouldn’t do it without a cleaning as well. We were willing to come back for the cleaning and were denied treatment. We were also denied access to records as the receptionist stated she “can’t give out patient information”., and when our new vet called Pet Care, they couldn’t get through. Because of this, we paid for two blood work ups, and PETCARE never even did the complete work up. We have since found a remarkable vet who serves both the patient and the owners. We feel PETCARE tries to charge for unnecessary services, and the staff was extremely rude and unattentive.. We will no longer return or recommend this clinic. . I have very mixed feelings about this clinic, which is why I’m leaving a balanced review. On the positive side, this doctor once quite literally saved my dog’s life. After spending an entire night at MedVet where she was only given medication, her condition continued to worsen. When I brought her here, the doctor took the time to analyze what was actually happening, drained the infection in her leg, and treated her beyond just prescribing medication. I will always be grateful for that level of medical insight and intervention. However, over time my experience changed significantly. When I asked questions about treatment plans — simply trying to understand what was being done and why — the responses I received often felt defensive rather than collaborative. The best Best BEST Veterinary I've ever been to! They really care about your animals, and even moreso your wallet. They don't try to push anything, or overcharge. They made me and my pet feel very comfortable. And the doctor was so extremely nice and understanding.

This was my first time coming here as a new client. I live in West Jordan but was recommended this veterinary office by everyone I asked. For the most part the visit went fine. Dr. Emch was very friendly and listened to my concerns as a new pet parent, and gave me some sound advice. One of the nurse’s was also very friendly and personable. So was the second nurse.
