The best place to bring your babies they give each puppy there own love and care all the staff are wonderful you can always count on Kim the manager i couldn’t have chosen a better place to get my orus a groom and his frequent baths I been going for a very long time the bad reviews never give justice to the staff to all the people that write bad reviews why don’t you guys put your guys behavior in the review as well to justify why your membership gets cancelled or why you aren’t welcomed there lovely and 10/10 recommend them especially to first time owners they give really good advice on how to take care of them🤍

I usually take my dachshund to PetSmart but the service there has always been hit or miss. My girl is 15, a little senior citizen, and I always ask that they handle her gently. She’s usually nervous and shaky during grooming and often comes home covered in fur, which never made sense to me. The atmosphere always felt stressful, so I decided to try somewhere new. I remembered seeing Petbar being built a while ago and decided to give it a shot. The staff at the front were welcoming, and the groomer, Chelsie, listened to how I wanted my dog’s coat trimmed. I dropped her off around 11:30, expecting the usual 2–3 hours like PetSmart by 12:05 they texted me saying she was ready. WORST GROOMING SALON — GAVE MY DOG A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE 🚫👎 On March 1st 2025, we went to PetBar in Sugarland to have our dog, Luka, groomed and trimmed. Prior to such appointment I booked online and put specific instructions (i.e., not to cut his lashes and just give him a trim). When I arrived at the boutique, the receptionist said Luka will be groomed for 2 hours so I left him there. An hour into the grooming, they called and said they needed to take out all of Luka’s hair because he had a lot of matting. I insisted just to leave the hair and just do a bit of a trim since as far as I remember there was not a lot of matting in his hair (check before photos). They insisted that it was NEEDED. I’m leaving a 1-star review for Petbar Sugar Land due to repeated issues with the front office staff member Kim and how membership billing/appointments are handled. I’ve been a member for a couple of years, but over the last few visits Kim’s behavior has not been a one-time bad day — it has been a pattern. Her tone is rude and unacceptable, and the way concerns are handled is not what I expect from a business I’ve supported for years. The biggest issue is the lack of transparency and confirmation around membership bath charges. I receive texts to confirm appointments, but when it comes to counting/changing membership baths, they do not wait for confirmation. At the beginning of the month, my 5th bath was counted/charged because the first Tuesday of the month was treated as the 5th bath —

I am beyond upset with the way my dog was treated at this grooming salon. I trusted them to take care of my golden doodle, and instead, they butchered his beautiful coat and left him with irritated, raw skin in multiple areas. The pictures speak for themselves, patches of fur were shaved down to bare skin, and one spot near his ear is red, sore, and clearly uncomfortable for him. This is NOT what a professional grooming job should look like. After I was on my way to the door the groomer told me she was going to increase her prices, which I didn’t think much of it until I saw my dog closely. My dog came home stressed, itchy, and clearly in pain. A groomer should know how to handle a doodle’s coat without causing this kind of damage.
