Pet World

This store had come highly recommended by some friends of mine. The store has a great selection of fish - salt and fresh - as well as supplies. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I'll probably keep coming back. My only concern, as someone who has never shopped here before, are the several dead fish in various tanks. One had been mostly fed on by the shrimp - at least you know the shrimp eat well! Anyway, I know fish die just like any other animal, but as pet shop keepers I would think there'd be a certain standard of care that would be upheld. It's very discouraging to see deceased fish left uncared for with other live fish - as far as I understand it existing in the same environment as dead fish can be very stressful for the live fish, as well as harm the overall chemical balanc

Awesome store! Very knowledgable and helpful staff! Their fish selection is great! Lots of different fish and aquarium stuff and the staff will help you pick out the right fish for your tank, explain how to take care of them, etc.

Overall the people there were lovely, walking around the place at first it looked okay. But going deeper into my personal knowledge and any knowledge of those who own reptiles. They aren’t very well taken care of, they all have one hide and paper towels. It makes me sick going and seeing them like that because that isn’t how those reptiles are supposed to be cared for. They need more in there environment and enrichment not just one place to sit. For example there’s multiple snakes that are a borrowing species who only have a rock to hide in. No actual substrate or anything, they just want to sell the reptiles not actually give them happiness. I buy most, if not all, of my supplies here. If you're worried about something in regards to your pet, do not hesitate to ask the staff questions. They're VERY knowledgeable and love what they do.

I went to buy koi. The fish guy (his words), Adam was extremely helpful and knew his stuff. He taught me about which fish would be best for us. The next day when I called because one of the fish was no where to be found, the clerk spoke to me and asked me some questions and gave me some advice. He was right! She was hiding and she came out and the entire neighborhood was happy. Thanks again guys! Sadly one of my koi was found this morning and I have to call pet world when they open.
