Pet Urgent Care

Hi. My name is Brian. I’m a 14.5-year-old Bichon, which makes me elderly, iconic, and not here for nonsense. Until last Friday, I was a spry little gentleman who enjoyed walking around like I owned the place. Then my legs decided to retire early without consulting me, and my moms immediately lost their minds in a full-blown panic. My hoomans (especially my moms) were very scared, so they brought me to Pet Urgent Care on Livernois in Troy, MI. From our dramatic entrance and my moms' visible panic, the staff there treated me like a fragile antique, rather than a mop with anxiety. If I had treats, I would have shared with them. I am so grateful for this urgent care. A couple of weeks ago, our sweet old lady cat suddenly lost the use of her back legs and started foaming at the mouth. One minute she was fine, and the next we were in full panic mode at 10 pm, racing out the door without even knowing where we were going. My mom mentioned this place while I was in the phone in the car freaking out and thank goodness she did. We had never been there before, but the moment we came running in with our cat in our arms, they took her immediately. No paperwork, no waiting room torture, just fast, compassionate action. We already knew she wasn’t coming home with us, but they made sure she wasn’t suffering any longer than necessary, and they still gave us the time and space to be with her through those last moments. ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD!!!! my dog ate one of the headache masks you use with migraines (the gel inside is extremely toxic to dogs) and they SAVED HER LIFE! they did emergency surgery to get everything out of her stomach and cared for her so well. the nurses were so sweet to her and hung out with her all day! they took pictures with her and made her feel so loved. thank you all so much for what you did for my baby girl! everyone go here and see Dr. Severin!!!!!

Our dog had a nasty broken nail, so we took her to this emergency vet since it was open late. Our dog was taken back right away, and the whole ordeal lasted about 2 hours. The staff were so calm, kind, and efficient, and the facility was clean and puts you at ease. The vet and techs went over everything in detail and provided a reasonable quote. Our dog was well taken care of and I am so glad we brought her here!

Was so happy to find this place one evening when I was worried about my Pickle, my diabetic cat that hadn't eaten all day and had vomited. They tested her blood sugar, gave fluids and some meds and we followed up with her regular vet the next day. The facility was clean, modern, and everyone there was so kind. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again if needed and I would also recommend them to anyone. So grateful this place exists! THANK YOU!
