Pet Supply Center

I am sad to leave this feedback. We have been purchasing our dog food, treats etc from this store for the last 3 years. We found most of the employees very helpful but not today. I asked one cashier employee if there were any additional supplies of a particular treat brand to which she abruptly replied "no...whatever we have is out" without looking at me or offering any suggestions. I then asked when the store would be getting additional supplies. Her response was "I don't know the schedule". A few minutes later my wife approached a different cashier employee about purchasing Proplan Fortiflora (my wife had called earlier in the week and was told "oh yeah, we have plenty of them"). This employee told her "they are out and it's backordered"...again never even looked up at us. My wife

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this store, not only did they take the time out of their busy day (the store was packed) to help us decide which cat food to take but they also put some treats I wanted aside once they got their new shipment so I can pick it up once it arrived. I added their card to the review in hopes that Google approves my edit to better reflect their current business hours

We absolutely love Pet Supply Center! A true gem in Sarasota. They are a family owned shop that goes above and beyond in every way, treating customers and fur customers like family. They use their extensive knowledge to understand your pet’s needs and the optimal fit for their health and lifestyle They have a wonderful selection of top quality pet foods, treats, supplements, toys, and accessories. The prices are the most reasonable you will find anywhere.. They’ve helped us with our dogs in all stages of life, from 4 months to 18 years. We’re so grateful to have Pet Supply Center in our community.

Some of the most kind people work here. Years ago I sent out about 30 letters to area pet stores asking for pet food donations to a small food pantry I volunteered at. The owner, Cathy, was the only one to respond. Every week she donated. It didn't matter how little she could spare. Something was better than nothing and we were always so grateful for whatever she could donate to us. I recently stopped there for some stuff for my new puppy. The owners sister was there and was kind enough to help out with clipping and showing me how to keep my puppy quiet while getting his nails clipped. Every person that works there seems to be a pet loving angle that was sent there to work.

Skip the box store chain. Ask questions and speak with owners and employees that truly care and are knowledgeable. The current owner is the daughter of a veterinarian (founder) and really knows about pet nutrition, care and health. She's been there for a long time. Forget the rest, this is the place!
