I have been going to pet supplies in Buda for years now and they have the best customer service and friendliest groomers. They are extra sweet to the animals they're grooming, patient, and super nice to me when I come in. Today I tried the south Austin location to get my dogs nails trimmed & filed and the groomer barely said hello, seemed a little rough with my dog (I heard him yelp when I was shopping around the store) and spent maybe 3 minutes on him just filing his nails. She had handed me the receipt before even starting that was for trim and file but only filed them... ? She also didn't ask to my rabies records. Their crickets are AMAZING! They never die (well, until they are eaten 😆). I think the owner said they are called Texas Banded Crickets so the fact they are bred here makes all the difference. I have been buying crickets regularly for 20+ years and have never had such healthy and resilient crickets in my life. Also, they are quite beautiful. The owner nerded out about them with me the first time I bought them and I appreciated that a lot. Customer service at the store is always insanely good and when I pass near anyone working, they ask if they can help. My dog is stoked to get a treat at the checkout and the cashiers are always happy to provide him with the biscuit and tell him how cute he is 😋 There is always a good selection of items on sale and we grab something every time we visit.

Friendly service and feel like the high end food I’m looking for is here and kept in stock. I want pickup to be quick and effortless and my order is usually filled fairly quickly. Don’t make me go thru hoops for pickup and I’ll be a happy customer! Appreciate the occasional sales and that they stock the Open Farm brand.

I was a frequent shopper here and spent a lot of money on my 4 pets here. Upon the employees request, I signed up for their emails and even downloaded the app to start getting rewards points. The employee was super nice and showed me the extra things you could do in the app to gain your first $5 reward!! Super cool until I walked in my next trip to try and use that reward. The manager says he will not let you use any rewards or coupons on anything that's already on sale or marked down in the store because he "doesn't get credit for those" and how is this the customers fault? Nothing in the terms and conditions says you can't use your own rewards points on sale items. I came into the store today and the employee at the register did not give me basic customer service and it was upsetting for me so I left. I then wrote a one-star review because of this and store owner Adam saw it and contacted me. He asked me what happened and said that he wanted to use this as a learning experience and see if he can coach his employee. That is absolutely some of the best manager dedication I've seen from a company in a very long time. While I did leave there unhappy because I wasn't able to purchase the recovery vest I needed to for my cat, Adam found out about that he offered me one at half price. To anybody that's in a position of manager you can take note from how Adam is running his business. This is the best case scenario in a situation like this.
