Pet Supplies Plus Port St. Lucie

I stopped at this pet store today for the first time and was delighted. I spoke with Frank and he was so very nice and helpful. His store is very clean, very well stocked and actually had a large variety of supplies, food, treats, toys etc. for various types of pets. I loved the fish department too! What I really was surprised at, and impressed, was that there is a DIY dog washing station there--as you will see from the attached photos. They supply all the shampoo, towels and any other supplies you need to help you wash your furry friends! Wow! I love this idea. I will definitely bring my Casper there! There is a groomer there and she is so very nice as well. She was in the process of grooming a sweet little 4 legged furry friend and she truly looks like she loves her career choice. I have

*Edited review* Do not shop here. Bagged dog food has been infested with moths, which an employee admitted was a known issue. I’ve personally seen other customers complain about this as well. Unfortunately, the store’s quality and professionalism have declined, and I can’t recommend it anymore. between the unsafe food and predatory employees i don’t believe this place deserves the initial 5 stars i gave, hopefully owners step in and fix something before they go under because it could be a good spot with the right people

Never had a problem with employees but are far as store hygiene the shelves don’t get cleaned or dog food bags aren’t checked when stored. I’ve had worms in my dogs food twice now! It’s disgusting. I’ve bought nothing but high end brands suggested by the employees and still have had worms in my dogs food. Never buying food from here again.

Great service and always very fresh food dates. I would totally recommend the store to anyone that doesn't want to waste time searching for what they need. Although they do have a nice selection of canned food that is different for my kitties But I suppose you can order them online also. The more you buy the more they give you and the prices are very competitive and they always have sales. Also the sales people are very friendly and helpful It was a nice experience as usual
