I don’t usually write reviews but I believe everyone needs a little acknowledgment every now and then. I went to get dog food for my yorkie. She’s 3 years old and she is a very picky eater. I asked for recommendations and the manager helped me himself. He was very knowledgeable about the dog food and I was confident in what he was telling me. He guided me towards the grooming salon when I was asking about skin and coat health. I talked to a young lady who was also very knowledgeable and kind. She helped me better understand that causes and effects that and allergy can have as my dog has sensitivity ears and skin. I was very pleased with my interaction at this pet store and I will always be back. I live a little far so it might take me a bit to get there, but it’s worth it to feel appreciat

Been a customer for a few years, never used grooming. When they got the new remodel and added in a self serve dog wash I started using it. Nice area, they even have upgrades if you want. The first time I went into the grooming place for help because I was not sure how to use it and the groomers helped me set everything up. They offered nail trim for my dog as a “bonus” and I took it. They did a good job and I’ve used them for nails in my dog since. They’re very kind and gentle which I like. Prices are good and people are nice

The pickup policy at this store is the most unbelievably stupid thing I have ever experienced. Not even Best Buy, which is a huge major retailer, has rules this ridiculous. They require you to show ID and the physical card you paid with. What if you paid using an online service like Affirm or Klarna? How are you supposed to show a card that does not even exist. And they do not accept the confirmation email as proof of purchase. Completely useless policy, no logic, no common sense. Whoever came up with this rule clearly has no idea how people actually shop today. Absolutely ridiculous. USELESS

We’ve shopped at Pet Supplies Plus before and have generally had good experiences, but this one was disappointing. We purchased a 35 lb bag of Purina Pro dog food that ended up being infested with bugs and what appeared to be fly eggs. The store replaced it without issue, which we appreciated, and told us that if it happened again to bring both receipts for a refund. Unfortunately, the replacement bag had the same issue. When we opened it, bugs crawled out immediately. We emptied it into our dog food container hoping to salvage it, but the entire bag was contaminated and ultimately had to be thrown away. I’m not one to write reviews, and have probably written approximately five in my lifetime. But I am writing this review because the store owners and other dog owners need to be aware of the current state of their dog grooming services. I’ve been coming to this location for approximately four years, with a 3-4 month break when I first moved to Miami Beach. I’ve chosen to make the drive from Miami Beach every time because the grooming and care has always been exceptional, up until the last 4-6 months. I have two Morkies that will be 18 in May. While I understand that my senior dogs can be difficult, I’ve always maintained reasonable expectations. During the last 4-6 months, the service has been quite horrible. I don’t know if the timing correlates with Valerie no longer being there.
