Pet Supplies Plus Fairlawn

It was time for a new grooming for our Shih Tzu, Teddy, so we took him to Pet Supplies Plus in Fairlawn—and I’m so glad we did! I had heard about the groomer, Sarah, from a chance conversation at Walmart a few weeks ago. Another woman was talking about her dog’s haircut and highly recommended Sarah. After a bad experience at our previous groomer, I decided to stop in and wait until it was time for Teddy’s next cut. Best decision ever. We dropped Teddy off at 9:00 a.m. and picked him up a few hours later. Sarah went on and on about how wonderful he was and how well he sat for her—it was so reassuring to hear how well he was treated. Used the self service groom facilities today for the 1st time. It was a positive experience for both myself and my golden retriever Lola. Great staff and clean groom area. We will definitely be back!

Dog food was on sale on a display in the aisle. We needed 2 bags so the sale price was a good discount. When we pointed out to the cashier & manager the sale price we were told sorry we haven't change the price on the display yet. They wouldn't honor the sale price. What happened to honoring the advertised price. No discussion or anything. Shopping somewhere else for pet food.

It’s the only place I can find my cats food. So I mainly go there. Petsmart also I will go there if I’m in that neighborhood but I usually go to pet supplies plus. Everyone there is usually pretty friendly. I don’t know about the knowledge of specific animals, I have cats and sometimes I ask about certain foods and I don’t think some people that work there are Knowledgeable about the questions I ask. But that’s OK. Because I I’m good at researching.

We have a bit of a unique situation with one of our dogs and the grooming salon, especially including Jayden (sorry if I misspell), handled it so well and gave our girl so much love. Our dog is a puppy mill rescue. She was a breeder for three years and her initial experiences with people weren’t all that positive because of that. The first time we took her to PSP for grooming she had an anxious reaction of some sort, which I happened to witness since I was early to pick her up. To say I was nervous for her next groom is an understatement, but we selected the express service on the suggestion of a manager and my family decided that, since I would be available, we’d request that I stayed with her in case anything happened this time.
