Pet Supplies Plus Barboursville

My boyfriend and I just bought two Fancy Parakeets. The staff was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and super delicate with our new feathered friends! As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed help. 10/10 recommend for anyone needing help or supplies with a new pet, old pet, or in between! Cages, tanks, and pet housing was all cleaned and the animals were all well taken care of! We have went into pet stores and walked back out without even looking around because of their habitats being filthy. You can just tell the employees and company takes pride in what they sell and do for people and their pets!

Sarah and Emma did a GREAT job grooming my pug mix Tater and my Husky mix Zuni. Zuni has seizures and I had some concerns about her, but she was in great hands and did so well and is so much better looking and feeling. I know you arent supposed to shave huskies because of their coat, but Zuni is getting too hot and needed to cool down before her shed, and Sarah shaved her tummy down in a way that isnt noticeable, but is absolutely helping her be cooler. They listened to me about my wants and needs for my dogs and I am VERY happy!

The store has so much to offer from great staff to clean organized isles of constantly stocked items. The dog wash is great too , easily wash your dog with no bending over the tub. Definitely the best pet supply place around hands down. 🤗☺️

I would not use this store as a groomer. Three strikes for us and they are out. One appointment I made over the phone with the manager. She booked us in a different location, I called the location I wanted to have him groomed🙄. When I showed up to the location I called, they said I was in the wrong place. I live in this town, why would I book 30 min. away. The next strike is when THEY cancelled our appointment but didn’t bump us to the next available, we had to wait a month. They canceled not us. Third strike, we made an appointment over the phone and was lucky to get an appointment a week later. We arrived on time for our appointment but she said we couldn’t have our dog groomed because we didn’t bring our dog’s rabies records (they have had his records for previous appointments.) Informa

Who shaves a golden retriever? Anyone that is experienced would know you don’t shave them because it hinders the growth of new fur! My poor girls are bald and she cut one of their ears! Why the groomer still has a job here is mind blowing. Avoid this place.
