One day I called to see if they had a fish. The girl wouldn’t even walk back there and look and see if the fish was there and then just said no we don’t have it when in fact they did. The people in the Leesburg store are horrible. She ripped a plant in half before she gave it to me. She gave me a dead plant or almost dead, because it was mostly brown. Wanted to argue with me like she knew better and she’s like 30 years younger than me I’ve been doing fish tanks longer than these little kids have been alive. I don’t know why you allow your employees to argue with customers but I can tell you I won’t go back to the Leesburg store employees are atrocious. I can’t wait till that store closes there’s nobody ever in there. It’s because the employees are garbage.

I ordered a fish tank and received a confirmation of the order. Then the next day I received notice that my order had been cancelled without explanation. When I inquired as to why, I was told they were out of stock. 1) why did they confirm the order if they were out of stock? 2) when I asked them to contact me when they were back in stock, they told me their system did not allow that. 3) It was their customer service that I had communicated with to resolve this. Obviously they do not really subscribe to the concept of customer service. It’s checking a PR box for them, not a reality.

Pet Supermarket sold us over $100 worth of sick, parasite ridden fish that proceeded to wipe out our brand new tank one by one. Parasites don’t just magically appear , they were sold to us. When we tried to return them after being told there was a 7-day fish guarantee, we were suddenly told they “don’t take live fish back.” So the guarantee is… imaginary? Zero quarantine, zero accountability, zero care once the sale is made. Selling diseased animals and then hiding behind policy nonsense is completely unacceptable. But hey , if you’re looking to pay full price to stock a tank with parasites, this is clearly the place to go!

I arrived at closing because I had just acquired a 2 week old kitten. Thankfully, they let me in with a good attitude so I could get the bottle and formula. "Jaime" and I and their real mom who could not care for them all thank you!!
