Pet Paradise Supermarket

Went to their new location on River Road and they were incredibly nice & helpful. Their prices are fair and comparable to Amazon & Chewy, so I'm glad to be able to shop local and not break the bank. They offered to order specialized food for our cat with a diet, and threw in some treats as well! Will definitely be back.

I walked in a few days ago, just to check the place out. You know doing the whole pet shop window shopping. Met the owner Nico (if I spelled it right) and right away there was instant customer service. I asked him a few questions and he answered them all professionally. Around to see what kind of brands he had and everything was top-notch.. very competitive to other pet shops and even the Big brand pet companies as far as pricing. They have everything in. They’re not just dogs or cats, they have supplies for birds and reptiles, and literally everything you can think of. Today I walked in and brought my pup. They have a self service dog bath. This thing is amazing. It works like a car wash so you put a quarter in each is 10 minutes. 10min for $15. They provide everything in there as far as

I decided to stop by the store while waiting to pick up the gf from O’hare. I have her little doggy with, so i decided to give it a bath. I’ve actually never washed a dog before and was nervous because the little one is technically not mine but the manager on hand was very helpful and walked me through the entire process coaching me up the whole way. Even offered an in-store towel to use. I was very grateful for that and now i feel much more comfortable and confident for the next time. The price to wash was very reasonable also. Thanks again for helping me out and i recommend this place for their other services and products too.

updated 4/23/22 rescued a dog from a not so great situation. he was severely matted and more than likely never even had a bath/brush before. the grooming took two separate days but evelyn was so patient and kind throughout the whole thing. appreciate her hard work in making sure romulus was knot free and ready for his new life. nico, evelyn and the team are awesome. thank you for everything! photos: before haircut / after second haircut getting probably his first ever bath / after the second haircut / 3 days after the haircut. wide variety of dog food along w/ small animal + cat products. glad to have this store in the neighborhood where i can get all my pet items at one store. great staff who are always welcoming and helpful. prices aren’t bad at all. support small businesses.
