I’m really disappointed to be writing this, because I wanted Pet Evolution to work out for my dog. I have a 2-year-old Shih Tzu who has been coming here since she was a puppy. A small groom with nail filing runs close to $180 with tax, which is on the higher end — but I was willing to pay for what I thought was quality and care. However well equipped to do it myself. **One important thing for anyone considering this groomer: if your dog needs an express groom (washed, dried, and groomed straight through without being crated between steps), you must call to schedule it. The online system does not reliably book express appointments. I’ve shown up before being told my appointment wasn’t actually express and was asked to cancel (with a $60 fee) and rebook — despite doing everything correctly

First time going to this place and it was so nice. I was given basic directions of the self dog wash service where the bath was clean, good water pressure with the option for actually warm water, plenty of clean towels and an amazing blow dryer that got my german shepherd dry so quickly compared to other places. All of this for an affordable price.

Extremely Concerning Grooming Practices and total Disregard from Management I had an alarming experience at Pet Evolution in Mill Creek involving both of my Samoyeds. My female Samoyed left her appointment with a noticeable laceration that later became infected. Despite this injury, I was still charged extra because they claimed she was “disagreeable,” even though she was kept there more than three hours past the stated grooming time. By the time she was finally brought out, she was clearly distressed and so thirsty she drank nearly 2 liters of water when I brought her to the car. My male was not yet ready when I went in 2.5 hours past the expected completion time. The groomer brought him out from a back area and I watched him fall off the grooming table because he was so exhausted. The

Five Stars for Per Evolution! I can’t say enough good things about Per Evolution and the care they gave my Samoyed, Morgana—affectionately known as Madame. She was desperately in need of grooming, and I was a little nervous since I usually give her a vet-approved sedative beforehand due to her anxiety. This time, I forgot. But the groomers at Per Evolution handled her with incredible patience and care. They took the time to calm her gently, and to my amazement, Madame Sammy allowed them to bathe and groom her without the sedative. That speaks volumes about their compassion, skill, and understanding of anxious pets. She came back looking gorgeous—clean, fluffy, and happy. I am beyond grateful and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone with a sensitive or high-maintenan

We've been going to Pet Evolution since they opened and have a monthly membership with them. The good: convenient location, awesome self-grooming stations, very LGBTQIA+ friendly. The bad: not a huge selection of toys and treats, and the staff is...I want to say mismanaged? Typically understaffed and the staff changes constantly; we've had at least 4 groomers in the last couple years, of varying skill levels. It's definitely still better than a big box store like Petco, but due to constant turnover, the general staff lacks the professional knowledge that you hope/expect to see from a smaller run, local store. We've had so many little issues over the years, but keep going because of the convenience of the location and the access to the self-wash stations.
