My beloved Scruffy rests here. I still miss him. It would be nice if the spring was still running, but it's still a very tranquil spot.
This used to be an old spring/well, at this location, for cars to cool down and not overheat on the way up the old grade. There were markers stating the history of the place but have since been removed. It even was/is a pet cemetery. As of now (2019) there are no trespassing signs.
Worth a quick pull off to pay your respects to some beloved area pets. Heartfelt and creepy at the same time.
