Pet Allies Animal Shelter

When I arrived to get my 6lb chihuahua spayed there were many people dropping off cats to be spayed or neutered. I felt like it was kind of a "get 'em in, get it out, what's your name, sign here. Next" drop off line. I understand this process because there were at least 5 people dropping off in front of me and more in the parking lot. So they do need to get things going in order to give all the animals the attention needed for a safe operation. I had a few questions before I dropped off my chihuahua and everyone was so kind. They answered my questions and didn't rush me. I felt good leaving her and within a couple of hours I received a call that she was a little nauseous and would it be okay to give her medicine for that. Of course I said yes. Staff was very friendly. Took well care of my Jazzy it is the next day and she is doing well. She's eating and her bowels are normal. Her incisions are healing just fine. They're not red or inflamed pick Jazzy up. The staff was very kind, very informative. Walk through her medication. Her aftercare the whole nine yards. It was nice knowing that they took the care of my jazzy , staff was very kind and courteous to me and everybody else that came through the door. Thank you guys!.

The staff here really care for the animals and want the best possible outcomes for each one that ends up at the shelter for one reason or another. After losing our senior dog, I searched across several states for the perfect dog to fill in his paw prints. It seemed like my search was asking for too much. About a month later, I didn’t expect to find my new best friend right here in my hometown. We adopted Jamie, now Juneau, the day before she was scheduled to go to an adoption event. She is truly the best little dog, and she loves being a part of our daily lives. She has a big brother and sister to play with. I think Juneau hit the jackpot with us, and vice versa! Best spay experience ever! I've had anywhere from good to ok to nightmare experiences elsewhere in the white mountain area. This spay at Pet Allies was done orthoscopic style. Two tiny stitch spots and my dog Ginger never had to wear the cone. It was like she was totally unaware. Once the meds wore off it was like nothing ever happened. I did keep watch on her and didn't let her get crazy with our other dogs just in case. It is still surgery. But wow what a difference. SUPER STAFF/VET
