Dr. Emerick was by far the kindest and most thoughtful vet I’ve ever been to. She sat down on the ground to greet my dachshund and he left with no anxiety trembles and a wagging tail (even after his shots)! I would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Emerick especially! One visit and I was sold on the care and service they put into our pets. I’ll be bringing my two little guys back to them for their routine vaccines and any other time we need a vet!

We have been using Perryville pet hospital since we moved to Rockford in 2023. They are always responsive and respectful. It was until our sweet baby Hazel started to have issues that i realized we picked the right vet. When she started to have a mass pop Dr Guedet was always available, trying to help us figure out what was going on. Unfortunately it ended being cancer. They were with us every step of the way until the end. The way they made the ease of euthanasia for our sweet girl was unmatched. I appreciate everything they did for us and will always recommend them. Thank you to all the staff for the love and support during our difficult time.

The staff here is above and beyond. We moved here and had to choose a vet that was closest to us, not knowing what to expect. No matter if we are there for a well visit or sick visit, they are always so nice. Recently our dog was diagnosed with cancer and we ended up putting him down. It was something we had never had to do before and the staff was so kind and walked us through the process. They gave us a few paw imprints for our kiddos to keep as a memory. They graciously kept him overnight until we could pick him up the day after to bury him. We got to keep a lock of his fur. The entire staff signed a card and sent it to us in the mail. Then today we got a notice in the mail that they donated a tree to the Arbor Foundation in his memory. They turned a sad time in our lives into great mem

We visited for vaccinations, a routine check-up, and blood work, and had an excellent experience. Dr. Emerick provided clear and thorough explanations, and the staff was consistently professional and kind. Communication via online messaging was convenient and efficient. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this animal hospital.

I took my old baby guy here and it was nothing short of an amazing experience. They are welcoming, kind, and very supportive. I unfortunately had to put my boy down, and they were super compassionate and understanding, they walked me through the whole process step by step and were so loving to my baby before his last moments. I’m incredibly thankful for them, and even though the circumstances were not enjoyable or happy, I do refer anyone their way as they are the literal best vet I have ever been too in my life. They will make sure your baby is loved and cared for and won’t hurt them in anyway (on purpose) in their care. Thank you to all the staff I can’t express my thank you and gratitude enough that you helped me during this time.
