Bellwood Animal Hospital

We are very happy with the care our large dog gets at Bellwood Animal Hospital. Dr. Lind is very knowledgeable and thorough when taking care of our hard to handle big boy. She takes her time with him and doesn't push him so as not to overstress him. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them to care for your furbabies.

I recently moved and switched vets. I chose Bellwood in part because my family brought our family cat to them for almost 20 years. Dr. Jallen was the vet in our latest appointment. He was kind, patient and gentle with my cat. He explained things in plain language so that I understood. He eased my concerns and took time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Bellwood for your pet’s care!

I am always pleased when visiting Bellwood Animal Hospital. Does not matter if I am there with a cat or a dog, for regular checkup or an urgent medical need. I always request Dr. Lind as she is the best!

Our Black Lab/ Porty mix, Walter, has been going to Bellwood for 5 years and we have had nothing but positive experiences. From his care during a bout of the flu to his annual check up and vaccinations he has been well taken care of. We appreciate the kindness and care they have given our boy.

Doctor is great, the front office ladies are on a completely different page which makes being a patient here extremely frustrating. They have no idea what the charges are or what they are for. When trying to get clarification I was hung up on. They tried telling me one charge was for a shot they administer to only puppies and after I said my dog is 12 she starting rambling about something completely off the wall. Anyways, if you go here be sure to triple check your charges. Oh and they refuse to do electronic prescriptions. They require you to go into the office and get a physical script every month for a recurring script.
