I cannot say enough wonderful things about this rehabilitation center. I bring both of my dogs here, one for hip dysplasia and the other for arthritis and chiropractic care, and the difference this team has made in their lives is incredible. My 5‑year‑old, who has hip dysplasia, is usually a total nervous nelly. New places and new people are not his thing. But here? He lights up. He gets excited the moment he sees his rehab specialist and immediately gives her a kiss like she’s his long‑lost best friend. Watching him trust someone that quickly says everything about the level of care and compassion they give. My 11‑year‑old is a sassy queen who has acted like a puppy her whole life, though she’s slowed down these last couple of years. But when she comes in for her sessions, she gets instant

Perrysburg Animal Hospital — The Clinic That Killed My Dog and Nearly Killed My Puppy On April 24, 2025, my world shattered when I brought my 8-year-old licensed service dog, Ziba, to Perrysburg Animal Hospital. She had just turned 8 days prior. That morning, I expressed concern about her labored breathing and weakness. I provided a full summary of her history prior to the visit. Ziba was never examined by a veterinarian that day. No one put hands on her. I was told by a technician, not a doctor, that Ziba was “full of hemangiosarcoma” — a devastating diagnosis presented to me with 100% certainty, despite the fact that no biopsy or definitive proof was ever provided. Because I was told they were absolutely sure she was filled with cancer, I had no reason to ask for specific diagnostics.

The vets and staff are absolutely wonderful here! The staff there still remembers my first dog and still talk about him. He passed three years ago. Now our new 10/11 month old puppy got a bowel obstruction that they diagnosed easily and were very kind in breaking news and waited for us to come in and see her prior to surgery. The cost of surgery was reasonable (compared to other friends whom had surgeries on their dogs elsewhere) They gave me the SOAP notes within 10 minutes of my request for our dog insurance claim and have been nothing but amazing with regular checkups and prevention and grooming since we got our puppies! This is literally the worst animal hospital in the area. They only care about money and could care less about your pet. I brought my dog in they seen him and told us he had spleen cancer and the only thing they could do is put him down. They put the iv in him and euthanized him. While me and my wife are sitting in their room sobbing they came in and gave us the price for everything. I paid them on the spot with cash. Well they must of seen my wallet wasn’t empty because they came back into the room 3 times to tell us about something that they forgot to charge us. Each time something different. I get things happen but 3 times? We are talking about $1000+ to take an xray euthanize and cremation. I get it you bought a new building and need to pay for it but that number is ridiculous. My seven year old siamese cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Perrysburg Animal Hospital has been treating him and was able to get his glucose under control with a daily pill called Bexacat. They are so caring and compassionate whenever he comes in for his check-ups. I've also had to board him there, and they took such good care of him. They're very thorough and upfront with everything they do. No one wants to find out they have a sick pet, but I'm so glad I have somewhere I can trust to have him cared for when needed. My little man, Hunter, says thank you, and so do I.
