Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital

The atmosphere of this hospital was warm and welcoming. It was buzzing with activity. The staff was so knowledgeable and kind. My dog, a doberman age only 10 months loved her doctor. He took the time to cover all the bases of her condition with expert knowledge! I love the fact that he requested a follow up appointment to make sure he's getting it right! Im so thankful for all the kindness I felt. Thank you for the care my dog is receiving !!

The staff is very friendly and great with our 2 pups. Skye and Rocky are lucky to have a caring team to help them feel less anxious.

Paid about 300$ for euthanasia & cremation for our dog, only to be told around month later that we "didn't pay for the right option" and that we wouldn't be receiving her remains. When the options were presented to us by the Pequot vet, we went with the communal cremation. They told us how we'd be receiving her back, ashes in a plastic bag in a plastic box. We did NOT choose disposal. Not only do they charge almost triple the amount of a private pet cremation for a COMMUNAL CREMATION (meaning, your pet will be cremated with other peoples pets for the price of a private single animal cremation), but you also run the chance of not receiving your pets remains whatsoever and being told that it is your fault even when you went with the options they presented. Update! June 2024. We got a new puppy and took him to Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital. They are still so great! The staff and vet are so friendly and answered all our questions. We couldn't be happier with them! Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital is great! They have taken great care of both of our older dogs. They are very quick to get back to us when we call with questions. We have always been able to get an appointment quickly. The vets, techs, and all the staff are very nice and caring. One of our dogs has had surgery here, and everything went great with the surgery. I'm so glad when we moved to the area we went to here first.

Zak has been going to the Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital since he was a tiny pup after arriving in Minnesota over a year ago from Missouri; he’s now a little over a year old. He LOVES all of the staff there and gives abundant kisses and hugs. We’ve never had a dog who is that excited to go see the doctor! That aside, we chose this clinic as we were looking for a holistic approach to veterinary medicine and we have been very pleased. All of the doctors and staff are very caring and highly trained in their profession. They are very thorough at Zak’s visits with his needs and care's and discuss everything with us as well as answer any questions. We can’t say enough great things about the Pequot Lakes Animal Hospital - they are all top notch and we have no plans to seek care for Zak elsewhere. A
