Pennsylvania SPCA Central PA Center in Danville

The staff were all friendly and informative, which made adopting a cat an enjoyable experience. The facility was clean and organized. My daughter even received a care package for her kitten before leaving. The adoption fee was $150.00 for kittens, and $70 or $80 for a cat 1 year or older, which is a decent price knowing the animal has had shots (depending on it's age), was spayed/neutered, and has a clean bill of health. My daughter was extremely happy with her Leonardo (Leo for short, or Gremlin when he's being mischievous). He has adjusted well to his new home and just loves getting into trouble. He is a wonderful addition to our family!

I'm a hospice nurse that found 3 thin, shivering, dehydrated pups in the middle of a busy road one afternoon. I brought them home and cared for them, called Pennsylvania spca the next day and was told I could bring the pups in after explaining the difficulties we had trying to get help in Halifax County. I paid someone to bring the pups in the next day only to be told they wouldn't take the pups bc they weren't found in Pennsylvania county, after another person said we could bring them there the day before? The lady repeatedly told me to call the danville city council instead of helping us find a safe place to take these pups. ? We left with the pups and zero help or any leads to get help or reassurement of what we could do to get help for these 3 abandoned pups that were left in

Very open, honest, and informative staff. They take good measures to assure these animals will be going to good homes. I got my sweetheart of a kitty here, Shade. Thank you guys for never giving up on these animals when they need safety the most.

We recused an amazing dog from here a black lab. We named her Angel

Great customer service felt like family every one works as a team . Best experience I’ve had so polite and heart warming I wish them only the best the and also it’s very sanitary that’s important all the animals are well taken cared of I love all the staff there very helpful and caring . These are my 2 new babies Aliyah and Georgie settling in on there first night home :)
