I would give zero stars if I could. My experience at Payson Family Pet Hospital was a nightmare that put my dog’s life at risk. After a routine spay, my dog developed an infection at the incision site. When we returned to give them a chance to fix it, things went from bad to worse. A vet tech took her into a back room—away from our sight—and shaved her entire underbelly to the skin to deal with the oozing from the infection. They shaved her so aggressively that it caused a severe skin rash/burn, which the clinic then refused to take any responsibility for. The most terrifying part? After seeing no improvement, we took her to an emergency vet for a second opinion. We were told the medications Payson Family Pet Hospital sent us home with were actually formulated for a cat and weren’t even cl

I love Payson Family Pet Hospital. I’ve never had a bad experience with them. They care about my animals. I am always able to get them in quickly and they are great about keeping in touch and sending reminders. I couldn’t be happier!

Have always had amazing experiences coming here, but this time was even better! Madi the tech came out and apologized for the long wait(appt at 10am, wasn’t taken back until closer to 11am) asked me questions to help cut down on the time we were waiting to see a doctor. I loved it. And then we met with dr. Jensen which I am now a huge fan of. She answered all my questions and really took the time to make sure I didn’t have concerns about Penny before I left. It was fantastic!

Absolutely fabulous treatment from the receptionists, vet techs, and vet. They recognized the urgency of our situation, early Monday morning, and got our sick bunny in to see the vet within an hour. Techs and Vet were kind, compassionate, and thorough in the examination and in the instructions to me on the care needed. They even let me come back (with the bunny), that afternoon so the tech could give me hands on training for syringe feeding. They saved the life of our adorable bunny (Not all vets treat bunnies, birds, or "exotic" animals. It's an important asset to have vets trained to do so, in this area)

The Payson Family Pet Hospital is amazing! Everyone was kind and caring. My daughter’s dog is pretty old, we aren’t even exactly sure how old. She’s got a touch of doggy dementia and gets scared when she can’t see someone she knows. Everyone she came into contact with was very careful to make sure she felt safe and cared for. She had her nails trimmed, an x-ray for a heart murmur, some vaccines and an exam for a skin rash. I didn’t even have to sell a kidney to pay for it.
