Pawsitive Pup Training

This was a great experience for me and my dog. Lainie was super friendly and knowledgeable. My dog is very reactive and afraid of people but by the end of our first visit he was following Lainie around and when I left to go to my car instead of waiting by the door for me (as usual) I came back to find him again following Lainie. I'm so glad I brought him to see her. I booked my next sessions before I left her studio. As an added bonus when he showed interest in some agility equipment she had she let him give it a try and he followed her instructions to the letter.

Lainie is the best! We have been taking our 6 month old puppy to classes for several weeks now and she loves it! She always has the best time and we’ve learned so much from Lainie. We really appreciate the insight she offers on the way dogs communicate and understand us. Couldn’t recommend Pawsitive Pup enough!

Pawsitive Pup Training provides top-notch services for dog owners in the Wilmington area who are interested in force-free training. Lainie does a fabulous job of not only dog training, but teaching owners as well. I definitely recommend this dog trainer to anyone needing help with their furry friend.

Lainie was wonderful with our puppy Huey! We did a 5 week private training class (one day a week with Lainie, and practicing on our own every day). It was amazing how much Huey was able to learn in such a short period of time. Lainie is very encouraging and thoughtful, and the positive training techniques she demonstrated helped our whole family learn. She also provided handouts as “homework” and extra learning opportunities. Huey enjoyed his classes very much!

Best Dog Trainer Ever. I have a lot of respect for her dedication to positive reinforcement. If you love your pup, stick with positive pup training-- because a LOT of trainers around the area rely on punishment. Pawsitive pup training allows you and your pup to have a loving bond and also an obedient dog by focusing on rewarding the wanted behavior and never needed to punish unwanted behaviors. Laine was very flexible, always kind, and always put the wellbeing and comfort of my dog first. She helped me with puppy training and socialization for my Shiba Uni.
