Paws & Claws Pet Grooming

We found a new groomer for our shitzu. She is such a difficult one to cut. Very old, crotchety, doesn't like paws or face cut. Oh my goodness he is a gem with her. She actually comes home smiling. Thank you. Misty will keep coming back!! (As long as you tolerate her)

I am new to the area and took my Boykin Spaniel gal here for the first time. I was nervous because while this breed isnt necessarily hard to groom depending on the skill level of the groomer you can get back a dog that either looks like a Disney cartoon or one that hasnt been clipped properly in areas for sanitation. Well I gotta tell you the owner is an absolute artist and my Bella had the best groom of her life! Seriously.. and I forgot to instruct leave some nose whiskers ( they are like a dogs sight.. a sense) well I didnt have to as he knew to leave em. The price was excellent and I found found us a great go to groomer!

I have been using Paws and Claws for a long time and will likely remain a customer for life. The prices are more than reasonable. The building is always clean and bright and Richard is always thoroughly professional and efficient. Richard has groomed my dogs for a long time and has always been prompt, courteous and highly professional. Richard has groomed everything from my unruly 220lb+ Saint Bernard to my rambunctious Beagle and never had a problem. He’s very good with my dogs; treating them gently and safely.

Richard has always been polite, professional, and he tells me exactly how he will cut or trim my dog. I have tried other groomers in the area but Richard does the best job on my Springer Spaniel (who is not an easy dog to groom). He has been grooming my Springer since she was a small pup and she is now 10 years old! I would not think of anyone else to continue with her. Richard is the best!

My Shitzu Pomeranian mix dog has been getting her nails cut by Richard for about 14 years. She is the only dog I have owned that wouldn’t let me cut her nails. Richard gets the job done quickly and professionally. I take her there every 5 or 6 weeks. It’s always clean. I also board my dogs there and they have been well taken care of.
