Kilmarnock Animal Hospital

My cat passed at 413pm. I immediately called to confirm how late they were at the office. I was told they lock the door at 430pm. I could get there by 435pm. Again I was told they close at 430pm. I asked what I should do with my cat. I was told it was cold enough & I could put him otside!. My poor cat was still warm. If I could choose a lower rating. I would. What a total lack of empathy. I was not a new client. I had an 8year relationship with this practice. This was shocking.

I've been going to this vets office for over 30 yrs.With all of my dogs (hunting dogs included). I took my senior dog in there who hadn't been seen there in 5 yrs. She had absess on her paw, she was in a lot of pain. They refused to see her because she hadn't been seen there in 5 yrs. They refused treatment to my senior dog. We were told on the phone to bring her up there. We took her up there and they would not see her. It's absurd, and such a disappointment. Will never ever be going to this vets again! When I needed them they were not willing to help my poor senior dog.

June 2019: So we have been back with Trinity again. 💫 When we woke up she wasn't acting herself. She was unable to bare her weight or walk. The staff was amazing and took us back immediately. I am awful at names and wish I could remember everyone but they knew immediately that she was bitten by a tick. They found a few and removed them, checked her out completely, gave Iv fluids, medication, and a breakdown of exactly what to expect over the next few days. By the end of the night she was able to jump off the bed and walk out to use the bathroom. I am so glad to leave everytime feel comfortable and confident with the treatment given. Dr. Michael Molineaux has been a caring and successful doctor for our four pets Callie, Marc, Mollie and Leo. He has been excellent at diagnosing and advising. I brought my dog in for a snake bite. It was after hours. Her face and neck were swollen within minutes of it happening. The dr was very nice and acted quickly. Very thankful that they came in to help my pup out. She is doing so much better today. I'm sure getting her treated quickly and effectively played a huge role.
