Did a test run with daycare at their facility and everything was fine. They are very thorough with their questions about the animal. However, I dropped my dog off for five day boarding stay and this place doesn’t give updates unless you call, and I had to leave 2 voicemails to get a response because of their office hours. They said they don’t give automatic daily updates but if I called they would be more than happy to let me know how he was doing since it was his first stay with them. When my call was returned the person who called wasn’t the one seeing after my dog and I was told I would get a call from that person the following day. I didn’t. We’ve boarded our dogs here a few times and have always felt confident they were well cared for. The staff seems attentive and the dogs come home happy and healthy. The pickup hours are a bit limited, which can be a little tricky, but overall it’s a reliable place. I recommend them to other pet owners.

Awesome, conscientious care for older rescue dog with PTSD issues. Our 15 y.o. dog is deaf, blind, and very high anxiety when not with family. He is on meds and eyedrops 2xday. The nuns were amazing and gave us updates on his comfort and status while we were gone. They went above & beyond to meet our dog where he is in his temperament. They found solutions to give him our vet meds, administered eye drops which can be challenging to do for strangers. Nothing seemed to surprise them. Because our dog is difficult for strangers to handle, we never leave him with anyone outside family, but Paws Awhile earned our trust. It was a blessing to find them!

My wife and I were moving to the UK as we are going into retirement. Like many people, our dogs are family and as we moved from our house and prepared for the move, we wanted our dogs to get the best care. We came to Paws Awhile having used them before and were astonished at our well our pets thrived. Because we had sold our house, we had to hold the dogs somewhere as we arranged flights etc. An additional complication was arranging pet transportation that ensured their comfort. The staff at Paws Awhile helped inform our pets transportation choice and worked with all involved to make it the smoothest it could be. My only regret is the fact we will no longer be able to utilize their services. This is the place you can most trust will treat your pets well. Thank you all

Preliminary play date a great idea. Made reservations for 10 days this month while we’re cruising. Can’t beat the private suites.
