Paws-a-tive Dog Training

Cathy is hands down the best trainer! It has been many years since we've had a young pup in our house. Cathy's common sense, positive reinforcement style of training was easy to understand and follow for the humans AND our pup. We learned puppy manners, basic commands and plan to continue with further training. We love how gentle and low key Cathy is in her approach to training. It is apparent that she's a huge canine lover who wants your dog to be happy, confident and well mannered. Thanks to Cathy, we are well on our way!

Cathy~ the dog whisperer! I am so grateful for the way Cathy has taught me to interact with my puppy Willow. Starting at 10 weeks ~ we have completed several mile stones the last being Good Canine Citizen. We are progressing nicely and will hopefully start harness training, for mobility assist, this fall. Willow is 2 and almost full grown. Thank you Cathy for getting us through the busy Golden Retriever puppy stage! We are so happy with the results.. Yes, the young grands can walk her!

I took my puppy, Jack, to Cathy's puppy class. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to start training with him so early (he was just over 8 weeks old at the time), but now I am so glad I did! Not only was it a wonderful opportunity for him to socialize with other puppies but, due to Cathy's training recommendations and the work we put in, I have a beautifully behaved little guy (for now anyway)! I would highly recommend Cathy's classes and we hope to attend more in the future!

We adopted a 5 month old male dog from a shelter last year. We wanted to get help with training and saw Cathy's website. We liked her approach to training. She is very professional and passionate about what she does. She is very knowledgable and gets along well with both the dog and the humans that are involved. She also asked us what "we wanted" as opposed to a cookie cutter type of class. The price for her sessions can't be beat. We walked away with information that helped us have a happy and obedient dog.
