I adopt a Maltese dog 5 years ago on this shelter and Ana was very nice with me. I saw that she and her volunteers staff took very good care all o her dogs. This is why I recommend to my friends who want to adopt specially small breed a pet to come to this shelter. Very care and all its pets are clean includes the shelter !!!

I don’t think Ana has the dogs’ best interests at heart. It should be simple to vet responsible families who are ready to adopt — like myself — and get these dogs out of the pound and into loving homes quickly. Unfortunately, her process is unnecessarily tedious and communication is very slow. She typically replies only once a day by text, which makes the entire adoption process drag on. I eventually gave up and adopted a dog elsewhere, even though I had my heart set on one of hers. It’s unfortunate, but I have to agree with many of the other negative reviews. I truly hope Ana improves her vetting process and communication because a lot of great potential adopters — and deserving dogs — are missing out on good homes. 😍Saw a dog I wanted to meet on petfinder.😇 ‼️Beware‼️ No matter how far you drive, we had to make an appointment a day in advance to walk in. We met the dog once and again with my dog. Feels like they hoard dogs… Picture folding dog crates on top of folding dog crates, maybe zip tied together. 🤷‍♀️ They told us the dog was a wanderer and someone picked it up on the road and brought him in, however, the petfinder ad STILL states that “he had a mom that got ill”. 🤔 Followed up for about three weeks and was told to wait for an email that never came. 👻 Every dog I saw as I walked by has been on petfinder for years, waiting to be set free from those small cages. 😢Poor dogs. This didnt stop me on my journey to find my furever baby. Remember- Everything happens for a reason! 🫶🐾

I had an absolutely great experience adopting from Ana. Ana is truly saving lives. She deeply cares about her dogs and puts so much time and effort into making sure they go to the right home. She is such a sweet and caring person and she even delivered our new dog to our home which shows just how much she cares and wants to ensure the dogs are placed with loving families. I am truly impressed with the whole process and want to thank Ana from the bottom of my heart for everything she does for these animals, many of which were abandoned but have now found a safe and happy place thanks to her. All the dogs looked so joyful and if I could, I would take them all. 😊

We can't thank Ana and all of her beautiful volunteers enough for taking these abandoned strays in and giving them a second chance at a better life. You can just feel the love they have for them! We couldn't be happier that we found our new fur-ever baby girl there. I am so grateful to Ana for the vetting she does and the time she takes out of her already busy life, to personally bring us our Missy-Poo!! God Bless you all! 🙏🏼🐾
