You don’t often walk into a business anymore where everything just goes smoothly, but from the moment I walked into Patchogue Animal Hospital I was greeted by the receptionist. She so happy and welcoming to both me and my fur baby. The owner/Dr. Eva Armfield was outstanding and answered all of my questions thoroughly. This has been the only clinic that has figured out why my dog has been so itchy and hot. They seemed like they really wanted to help and did not write me off or try and charge me an arm and leg. It’s been about a week since our appointment and Mindy looks so much better.

Dr. Armfield and the entire staff are truly the most compassionate professionals in the care of my pet family members. I can't overstate my level of gratitude and thanks towards Dr. Armfield's team. My pups and cat have been under their care for over 10 years and I drive over an hour each way because they're that good. My 17 year old pup Mochi was declining in health and I was able to properly say goodbye. Dr. Armfield helped my pup increase his appetite and I was able to give him a few days of his favorite food. Last Friday when I brought him in on short notice, Dr. Armfield was able to take us in and was very thorough in explaining the process. Once my dog Rosie condition was explained. The doctor had me immediately bring and diagnosed her condition. Forward all information to an emergency medical professional. She had immediate medical attention. Her doctor at Patchogue animal hospital called after the surgery and when I was not able to be contacted. They called my family member to confirm her condition and care. They saved my Rosie girl. Do I need to say anything else!

Love this place. We crossed paths when we pulled a puppy from the NYC shelter who had been exposed to parvo. Being from a rescue they were absolutely wonderful in their treatment and every interaction we've had with them has been nothing but a pleasure.

They treat my mutt, Boo, like he is part of their family. I moved out of state but I miss the staff so much! Dr. Armfield and the ladies are compassionate and smart.
