Had such an amazing experience at Almost Home Adoption Center! Everyone there was super welcoming and really helpful. They answered all my questions and made the whole adoption process so easy and stress-free. It was such a nice change after the terrible experience I had at the Islip Animal Shelter. Dakota (formerly Reba) is living her best life and soaking up all the princess treatment she deserves! Definitely recommend checking them out if you’re looking to adopt!

What a great experience we had with Almost Home! We met Lori at an adoption event in Farmingdale and absolutely fell in love with her. The adoption process was seamless & thorough, which we appreciated. We understand how important it is to find the right fit. We love our little (big) girl so much! My daughter dances at Starlite School Of Dance across from Almost Home and we got to see dogs being walked everyday. After our dog passed we were eager to find a dog that needed a home just as much as we needed the love from a dog. Then we found Macie! We have been visiting her and recently did a home visit. So far she is thriving and so are we! Best rescue ever! I highly suggest donating and getting a dog from here!
