Thank you for giving us an opportunity to meet such a awesome dog which is our Gunther. I felt in love with him at the first sight and forced my BF to foster him to start.. because I knew he will eventually becoming our family. And my BF ended up adopted him. He is well trained(never peed or pooped inside since we had taking care of him. Amazing) highly intelligent, little cookoo but very obedient and such a cute dog. And humane society also told us lots of information about him which helps alot to get closer and understand him better. We really really feel blessed that we met Gunther through Humane society and feel so thankful to HS to give us a chance to meet him.

I found 3 puppies & a mama while on a trail in Pasadena. it took me a long time to get them to trust me, and my daughter and I worked hard to load 2 of the pups who were very terrified. I brought them to Pasadena Humane as it was less than 2 miles from where I found them. I was proud that, with my daughter's help, I was able to get them into safety, but when at the shelter, I was questioned as if I had committed a crime. I was told "people help dogs" when I told them the group I was with kept going and didn't help me with the dogs. I'm a dog lover and seeing what appeared to be a pregnant mama I couldn't turn my back on them. Shortly after seen the mama, I saw two very scared puppies, then the 3rd very affectionate puppy came out. A lady told me they had called AC but nobody showed up so I

*Edit: I do appreciate the response, I just didn't like the way the intake made me feel. It was a bad first impression. I hope kitty made it into a good home. Thanks! Found a kitten in the middle of the night, brought it here the next morning. I already have a dog, and this kitten obviously needed a lot of cuddles and attention that I couldn't give. I thought to myself, someone would probably love to adopt this cat, he's friendly and needs attention. I brought him in, and he was a little upset about the car ride. Understandable. The woman at the front tells me that because he's crying, they'll most likely put him back outside around where I found him. An area notorious for coyotes. I thought I was doing a good thing, now I'm depressed that I brought this little guy in to eventually become

I’m so happy my husband and I chose to adopt from the Pasadena Humane Society. The staff is extremely knowledgable about the dogs there, and gave extremely helpful insight when picking the right addition to our family. They were so patient and spent a lot of time with us, put no pressure on us at all, answered all our questions, and the information packet they gave us was beyond helpful in getting our new dog quickly acquainted into our family. Ash has been doing wonderfully in the 2 weeks that we’ve had him, and he’s made our lives whole! :)

Historical plaque inscription: “Pasadena Humane Society, City of Pasadena Cultural Heritage Landmark, architect Robert H. Ainsworth, 1932.” The building which houses the adoptions office was completed in 1932. The oldest building dates back to 1929 and is located behind the modern-day dog kennels. It is now the Wildlife Center. Founded in 1903, they purchased this property in 1914.
