Park Animal Hospital

My coworker went to this place and referred to me that they are kind, really nicely priced. I was going to neuter my cats and the prices of other vets were between 600-800 minimum. Park Animal Hospital charges less than half of that. Dr Park was so kind and professional with the pets, so gentle with the shots the cats did t even know when they got the shots. I would definitely recommend 100%.

I have been coming here for years and have never had something to complain about! I think Dr Park and his wife are great at what they do and are compassionate..the reason for my low rating is because a few months ago they hired new girls at the front desk (maybe middle eastern) and my experience has not been pleasant since. Today I called to ask if it was alright for me to pick up cat food and the girl on the phone was like “oh if you can make it before 2 pm..you can try” and proceeded to laugh. I understand that I should have gotten there earlier but I was caught by train. she was implying that if I made if there a minute late I would been denied the food for the cat. I have brought all of my dogs here due to the close proximity of my home. I will never be doing that again. I had asked for the vet to call me back while my dog was sick, seemingly from a urinaty infection he had before. I was very ill myself, unable to get him there. He was a smaller breed, 11 years old. I was told that, "since you haven't been here for some time, I don't think the vet will return your call" by the receptionist. Since I hadn't been there recently (paid for services, I have to assume), no one did in fact return my call, not even to see how my dog was doing. I have been going for 30 years to dr. Park animal hospital. I called last week & was told to get there 1 hour before closing at 2pm. I showed up at 12:38pm, 1hr & 20min before closing. The office girl was starting to check me in, when 2nd girl came up & told her no more patients. I said I was already there & I was told to come 1hr before closing. They said no, I insisted and told girl to tell dr. I was in a cast with crutches that it is hard for me to get around to go somewhere else. The girl said she told the Dr. But still said no. I insisted again that she tell him of my cast, crutches. She finally did and they agreed reluctantly. Dr. is absolutely amazing! Receptionist doesn't know how to handle calls or customers and provide correct information to anyone over the phone.
